Rules: the simple version


Fast Flirting is a game played by two or more players.

The duration of the game is decided and fixed before the game starts.

Each player has a number of missions to accomplish and learns them during the game through a mechanism that we will present in a while.

All players are given the same number and type of missions, but the total duration of all missions is many times greater than the duration of the game. As a result, only a limited number of missions will be played during each game and as missions are picked randomly, no player will get the exact type and sequence of missions during the game.

The sequence with which a player picks his missions is random. He doesn't 'choose them out' and this randomness plays an important role in the game. We will see how this is achieved later.

The player does not know what mission is waiting for him until he decides to pick a new mission.

Once a mission is picked, the player can either accomplish or quit (fail) the mission. He cannot put the mission away for 'later'. The game follows a strict one mission at a  time policy.  Not accepting or picking a new mission, while an older mission has not been accomplished automatically considers the older mission as a failure.

Picking missions happens in the field, where the game is played i.e. in bars, nightclubs etc. There exists a  mechanism to pick new missions that ensures secrecy and speed, so that people around you will not know what you are doing (reading the instruction of a new mission, that is), and this mechanism will be described later.

Each mission offers a number of points depending on its outcome. You may earn a number of points if it the mission is accomplished and you lose 1 point (-1pt) if you quit the mission without success.

The person with the most points at the end of each game, wins the game.

This is done to ensure that while we know who is the best, we don't know who is the worst.

Some points  can take more time to validate than the duration of a game e.g.  taking the number of a girl offers extra points if the girl picks up the phone when you call her in one day or more. If a player sleeps with a girl he met through Fast Flirting, he will get a maximum of points. As this usually happens several hours after they met  - even if the game is over - he still will collect the extra points.

We will see how that is achieved later. If e.g. you played the game with your buddies  last Saturday and the game ended at 03h00 in the morning, you will not know the winner untill Monday afternoon.

Here is why:

First, you do not know if your friend that was talking with that beautiful blonde will manage to have sex with her during the same night or not. One night stands can earn you a lot of points. You will know this by Sunday morning.

What about all these numbers that you have collected ? Well, until you call the girls and they pickup the phone, you cannot know ...  This is done to ensure that people will not just go around asking for numbers but they will make an effort so that the number they get, is solid i.e. the girl really gave her number because she wanted you to call her.

This is a gentleman's game. Each man is responsible for keeping track of his overall score. We will see how to do that later. However, what is important is that each player is fair to  his co-players and to himself: he doesn't cheat.  If one decides to lie and say he has accomplished a mission while he was only biting his nails, he will only lie to himself and only for a short time:  in the long run he will show no progress and the whole game will lose interest for him, let alone that co-players will find this out. You cannot hide the truth in such a game for long.

 

 

 

Each player is responsible for choosing the women he will talk to and the areas he will move. This teaches each player to chose the right women and the right areas to play his game. As Google says, Only Results Count.

 

 

 

An example


- You meet your friends at a bar around 20h45. You make sure that you all have the same mission pack i.e. the same number and type of missions.

- You agree that the game will end around 24h00


- You then split in small mobile groups so that you do not have to move around like a huge football team. You will be able to switch groups later.

- At 09h00 the game starts and you read your first mission. So does everyboy else in this game. Your mission is about telling something dumb to a girl and it vows, lets say, 3 points.

Easy, you think.

However, your friend gets as mission the following: he has to approach the group that one of his friends is interacting with and steal his girls.

As you start your mission, everything seems to be working very well, when suddenly your friend interrumps you and attempts to steal the attention of the group.

It doesn't take much to realize what is going on, which starts a mini rooster fight between the two of  you. At  the end, only one  wins the impressions, the girls and of course all of the points too, which ends this competitive mission.

One this mission is over, you move on the next mission which is cooperative and means that either both of you will win the points or none of you. You have to tell your buddy that this is time for both of you to demonstrate coordination and teamwork, in order for both of you to win this mission.

As you are talking to some girls, in the background you see another friend making some other girls laugh, and while you would like to guess what kind of mission he has, there is no time for this. In order to win  your mission you have to focus, focus some more and then ... guess what ? ... focus again.

The night passes very fast.

You accomplish some missions and fail others. It doesn't matter though, as you are taking one evolution at a time and you will have time to count your points at the end of the game.

You look at your watch and you become utterly surprised.  Before you know it, three hours have passed.  You find yourself with plenty of experiences, some crazier than others, some numbers you collected and maybe a vivid memory of a make out.

 


- 24h00. This game is Over. You meet your buddies for a last beer at your favorite bar and you talk about the highlights of the night. The winner will not be known until 48 hours from now and all participants have called all those numbers they have collected to see who got a solid number and who not.
